Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time


  • An Autoshop requires the services of an Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee the daily business activities.

Job Description

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
  • Supervise all facilities staff (janitors, office assistant, warehouse boys etc.) and external contractors
  • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, power generation and maintenance, building security etc.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations


  • Minimum of B.Sc in Degree in Business, Management, Operations or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years experience working in similar capacity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to coordinate and oversee daily activities
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Proficient in MS Office and technology savvy
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
  • Attention to detail and a well-organized approach to work
  • Ability to prioritize work and to work well under pressure
