Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
- An Autoshop requires the services of an Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee the daily business activities.
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
- Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Supervise all facilities staff (janitors, office assistant, warehouse boys etc.) and external contractors
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, power generation and maintenance, building security etc.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Minimum of B.Sc in Degree in Business, Management, Operations or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience working in similar capacity.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee daily activities
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Proficient in MS Office and technology savvy
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels
- Attention to detail and a well-organized approach to work
- Ability to prioritize work and to work well under pressure
