Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build cloud infrastructure while optimizing for performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for our applications
  
• Use infrastructure as code to automate and govern infrastructure requirements
  
• Work collaboratively with the product team to build, deploy, and operate our systems
  
• Instrument infrastructure and applications with monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing tools
  
• Taking part in an on-call rotation

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure or SRE related roles.
  
• Experience building cloud-based platforms with AWS services.
  
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  
• Ability to perform basic database administration with MariaDB and Elasticsearch.
  
• Intermediate skill level developing in Python.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
• Experience building, deploying, and running applications on Kubernetes.
  
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Gitlab and Jenkins.
  
• Experience building and deploying systems using Docker and Helm.
  
• Experience in creating and evolving CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
